3 People Shot, 2 Killed At Rich Homie Quan Concert In New Orleans 1

Two men are dead and another is injured following separate shootings Tuesday night (March 4) at a Rich Homie Quan concert in New Orleans at Mardi Gras World.

In the first shooting, 25-year old Deron Hitchens and an unidentified 28-year old male got into an altercation which resulted in gunfire. Both men were hit with several bullets. By the time police arrived on the scene the two men were dead. Hitchens was found in a Silver Toyota. The other man was found lying on the ground.

In the second shooting, a man said he was at the concert when an unidentified gunman approached, shot him in the shoulder and ran off.

The victim survived and police are now looking for the shooter.

This is the third Rich Homie Quan concert where gunfire has erupted in the last several months. A man was killed on December 22 in Columbus, Ohio while attending a show. Two more people were wounded at Quan’s January 25 concert in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
