I’m asking this because my brother recently became a vegan and is very irritable lately. I noticed he hasn’t been eating much fat in his diet. I want to to convince him to add some fat to his diet, but he refuses. He says the body produces enough fat for itself.

Who produces the actual idea that’s pitched to a client? Do the copywriters and art directors just produce what they’re told, and if so, who tells them? When does the media planning department come in and who brings them in?

Why is it that Conservatives will gripe all day long about how a 25 cents per hour increase in minimum wage laws just drives up prices for goods and services, but you’ll NEVER hear them complain about how the 11% rate of annual increase in executive compensation -or how a rapidly growing number of companies pay more to compensate their top 3 executives than they pay in Federal taxes- drives up prices for goods and services?

I am a clothes designer and produce my clothes in Sri Lanka. I wish to sell my clothes here in the local market. I would appreciate any advice on how to sell the clothes to shops and then collecting the cheques from the sales they make. However, from past experience they never give full payment of sold clothes until we collect all stock from the shop, how do I over come this problem?

While U.S.A seems to be in a down spiral, Canada is doing extremely well. It is producing a fiscal surplus for the last 10 years, their debt is being reduced significantly, their currency is worth more than the American, and their economy is getting stronger every year. On top of that they are able to have universal and free health care system and an excellent school system.

Google paid tax of £6 million on revenue generated in the UK of £2.6 billion in 2011. Its executive chairman, Eric Schmidt, defends the company’s practice of using international legal anomalies to move profits into low tax jurisdictions, even though they were generated in Britain. He also suggests that Google’s contibution to the economy is more important to the economy than the amount of tax the company pays to the Exchequer.

I accept a company must make profit, but is the company morally correct when considering where its profit was generated, and the state of the UK economy. Or is morality only for the consumer and ordinary taxpayer?
