Auto tune is basically cheating, right? So why is it okay for singers to cheat and use auto tune but if an athlete cheats by uses steroids they get kicked out of sports and a chance at the Hall of Fame?
It’s all very confusing?

I downloaded the trial version of auto tune off the antares website, installed it, then had to use authorization wizard, make an ilok account, and then type in a registration code that I don’t know. I need an easier program to install, but does the mostly the same thing.

How did you feel about auto tune before it became a hot topic? Did you stop listening to any songs after becoming aware that the artist used auto tune in it?

I enjoy a lot of artists who heavily utilize electronic auto-tune in their music as long as they do a good job with it, and it ends up sounding like music at the end of editing.

Singers that use auto tune are never off pitch right? So if I look for a note that was off pitch the singer didn’t use auto tune, right? Examples where the a note was off pitch and auto tune wasn’t used? Don’t use Kesha as an example because its obvious ( use people like fleet wood mac)
