Everyone has been talking about this “christmas” holiday and i have never ever in my life heard it before!! What is it?

On christmas eve, all the family comes round and we open some presents and have a little buffet. We then go to church until about midnight.
On christmas day I wake up at about 6 am and play on my phone, read books etc until I’m aloud to go downstairs at 8:30am. late I know
I open some more presents, and then the family comes round for lunch.

So I’ve gotten my first job as a casual at a shoe store and am quite worried about the christmas season. What can I expect from this season and how long does it last?

This year for christmas I want the gift exchanging to be reversed. Im trying to make money, at least 30 bucks, so I can bye a necklace and earrings set for my mom for christmas. Please help me. I don’t want to be bratty this year. I want to be helpful. I just want to make it up for my mom for all the great things shes done for me. My family is going on vacation this year right after christmas. and because that will take most of our christmas shopping money, we won’t be doing much gift exchanging. I always make the dessert for christmas day in my house. I usually go for something along the lines of a pavlova, cheescake or banoffee pie but I fancy a change, something a bit different to the usual. I like to be able to make the dessert the day before so it needs minimal preparation on christmas.
