It played on 88.5, and it sounded like jamaican rap and I remember a few lines and he said “If you had that much street cred, you would be dead”. How is this nitpicky, its very relevent… You wouldnt call a person of Irish heritage German..

White ppl, be they American, Canadian, Australian or European, look down on those who live with their parents BY CHOICE. Why is that? In my culture/race, we stay with our folks until we get married or get a great job far away. However, if we can’t marry/don’t want to marry or our job’s close by, we live with them. What’s wrong about wanting to be around those whom u love? I’m NOT gonna get my own place under the fascade of independence if it’s not too far from my parents’ home and we all get along well. White ppl look own on me for this. Why? I mean, as long as I’m working, being kind to my parents an d they give me freedom, what’s wrong with this? Besides, living alone gets boring & lonely sometimes. Even if you learn ‘independence’ living alone, you don’t learn interdependence, which is just as important. If I can’t marry, I’ll live with my folks all my life. What’s wrong here? MANY kids have broken families in Western societies, so why not appreciate it when we do have good parents? In fact, I find it a bit disrespectful when someone moves out if they work nearby their folks’ home just under the pretense of independence. Why do whites hate this? Do they value money more than family?
BTW, living alone dos NOT necessarily make one more independent or smarter. MANY ppl start drinking, smoking and other bad things once they move out. Also, it’s irresponsible to give away rent money to the landlord when u can save it by living with ur folks. WHy don’t white ppl get this?
To Seriously? How come u also agree with me that someone who cannot marry and thus, decides to live with his/her folks out of choice the rest of their lives b/c they like it, is NOT childish or incompetent?
to seriously: If I then cannot marry b/c I don’t fin mr right or if I don’t want to, and I live with my folks the rest of my life, am I stupid according to you or white ppl? WHy are white ppl quick to assume those who live alone are ‘smarter’ and moe independent than those who CHOOSE to live with their folks(regardless their age)? Do they value money more than family?
