My school is doing “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” as our school play. To accommodate more characters we are adding extra comic strip skits, I play the teacher Miss Othmar but I can’t seam to find any comics with her in them… Any teacher/adult related ones would be appreciated.

And if your wondering yes since I play an adult all I say is “wah wah wah”

I saw him list Willie Mays and Charlie Brown, on his ESPN website. I was wondering if he was referring to the historical MLB player by the name of Charlie Brown — or the wishy washy (but lovable loser) hero of the famous PEANUTS cartoon strips.

In Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, It looks as if it was made on a computer using Flash or something but my dad says they hand drew every frame. Who’s right?

We recently moved and in doing so, I found buried in an old box my childhood Charlie Brown glass. I have very little from my childhood and sometimes — OK often — enjoy drinking from it.

Anyway, I notice that my wife grabs this glass first thing in the morning and starts using it. She doesn’t have a childhood glass. I’m afraid she’ll break it, as she’s a klutz.

I noticed so many different aspects of that Boondocks episode (Riley writing his letter, Huey directly asking if he looked like Charlie Brown, etc) that showed McGruder and the producers kind of used elements of the old Charlie Brown & Snoopy Peanuts cartoons in the episode which made it really funny.

Personally, I felt that we should have won in 2004 and especially in 2000, but they always find some diabolical scheme or use the supreme court to steal the election. Did anyone worry that it was gonna happen again, and like Charlie Brown, they were gonna yank the ball away at the last second?

I really just don’t get it- it’s kind of depressing right? I read comics to take my mind off things and laugh, not be reminded how much life sucks. I haven’t read a ton of the comic strips, or seen all the Charlie Brown movies, but that’s just kind of what it seems like from what I have seen/read. Can someone explain to me what the appeal in that is?
